Carli Bybel Palette | First Impressions & Swatches

So for my US readers this may be a bit of a delayed post because due to the amazing price point and easy shipping I'm sure many of you have seen endless swatches and read so many reviews of this palette - And you probably may have even got your hands on it! But for me, a UK Blogger, the process of getting my hands on the BH Cosmetics - Carli Bybel Palette was not an easy feat!

I came across the BH Cosmetics website while doing my usual internet browsing and was blown away at their great price points. As a BH Cosmetics Virgin, I had been hearing their name all over the shop but never could justify looking into their delivery prices in order for me to get my hands on a product for myself. So after my brother announced his engagement I now had an excuse to get my hands on the Carli Bybel Palette because I knew his FiancĂ©e was a fellow beauty addict like myself! Ordering two makes sense right? Makes up for spending so much on delivery? Well it does in my head.

After around a 2 week wait.. Which was actually longer than the estimated delivery time and an added customs charge of £11 (Which I was NOT happy with) I finally got to bring the palette home with me and wanted to share some of my first impressions and turn this post into swatch central.

So my favourite colours from the palette have to be ...

The third highlighter shade has such lovely golden tones which are a perfect match for my skin tone. I use my "Bold Metal Dupe" brush (read about here) to apply this highlight and it glides on so smoothly. The purple shade is exactly what I love for an everyday subtle smokey eye so is my stand out colour out of all the shadow shades. I'm yet to do a total glittery eyelid look with this because my shadow game is so not up to par yet but swatching the colours I know they would work so well.

All shades are so highly pigmented and a little really does go a long way!

Now let's jump into Swatch Central...

The palette consists of 10 eyeshadow shades and 4 highlighter shades which can be switched around according to your skin complexion and preferences.

Have you tried the Carli Bybel Palette? What are your favourite looks? Also, let me know what other BH Cosmetics products I need to get my hands on!

Thank you for reading :)
