#BLACKLIVESMATTER

#BLACKLIVESMATTER
Ever since I saw the video of George Floyd being murdered by a police officer in Minneapolis, like so many of you, I have been filled with anger, upset and fury.
I have been glued to twitter and the CNN news channel, following the story and the protests and I felt a huge feeling of helplessness for a while - I thought about what can I, as a British Indian Female, do to support the movement and fight for change? And whilst I acknowledge one blog post and a couple of tweets may not be able to change the racial stereotypes or institutional racism that so clearly exists across the world - We all have the shared power of our voices, which is why right now I believe we should all be using this power to stand behind the Black Lives Matter movement and spreading its awareness into all communities.

Aartificial is Back!

Guess who's back? Back again...

Logging into my blogger account in what seems like years seems (ok, it literally was years ago..) feels super surreal but laying in bed last night entering my third week of self isolation, I was making a list of all the things I want to achieve whilst in lockdown. I have been super determined to make the most of this time and the number one goal for me was to revive my blog and get back into a hobby that used to make me feel so happy!

I was thinking about all of the things I wanted to write about, all the topics I wanted to discuss, I was wondering who my target audience would even be this time round, wondering what direction I wanted to take this and even if it's something I'm actually going to end up maintaining. But instead of filling my mind with enough questions to talk myself out of it, I set myself a goal to just get on with it and so here I am, sitting on my bed, legs crossed with my laptop in front of me just typing away like I used to do back in the day.

Mediheal Sheet Masks | Korean Beauty #Review

Asian Skincare has become a phenomenon in recent years within the Beauty community so when my brother was on his recent travels and asked me what I wanted from Korea the first thing I yelled was "SKINCARE". I had no specific product in mind, no specific brand I just wanted to dip my toes into their top products and see what all of the fuss was about.

What he came back with was a few different boxes of sheet masks from the Korean brand "Mediheal", and I have been sold by the magic within these cutely designed packets!

Best of | L'Oreal Hair Products

After my previous hair care post, I thought I'd delve into some more of the products I've been using to try and make me fall in love with styling my hair again. After a rummage I realised I somehow have a whole bundle of L'Oreal haircare products that have been my ride or dies for years now so wanted to give them a quick mention on the blog.

Contouring with a Cushion Foundation?! | Beauty

Contouring has changed from being what once was a scary application, restricted by use for professional make up artists, to now becoming a staple in the majority of make up lovers’ day to day make up routine.

With contour sticks, wands, creams and powders – it has become more accessible to find the product that works best for you. As a make up junkie, I have honestly tried nearly every contouring method out there, but I have found my HOLY GRAIL method and product that I feel beats the rest!
