I was very pleasantly surprised when this little beauty was
popped in my Birchbox (or shall I say Birchbag) this month. At first glance I thought
it was just another make up application tool but after reading the handy
booklet I found out it was to apply my skincare and prep my face! Who thinks of
these things? Such a simple product but oh so handy!
So this is how it works, just like the other beauty blenders
on the market the sponge works best damp. So pop it under the tap for a few
seconds, squeeze the excess water out and you’re good to go. Unlike the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge it doesn’t increase in size dramatically but the
ovoid shape is perfect to blot and stipple your products right into your skin.
As a huge fan of fake nails, eye creams have always been a
bit of a hassle for me. With the constant fear of poking my eye out the pointed
end fits right under my eyes and lets me get my product exactly where I want
it. I’ve been using it with my Elderflower Unperfumed Eye Gel from The Body
Shop and it works a treat!
I’m yet to try it with my primer but I’m sure it would work
as great, especially if it stops me getting that annoying greasy feeling after
rubbing my primer all over my face. So it’s latex free, non- allergenic and
odour free too so all you sensitive skinned ladies won’t have any problems.
For just £5.99 I think this is going to become an essential
in my make up collection! You can get yours from Birchbox.co.uk
Did you get this in your Birchbox this month too? If so, are
you as impressed as me? Let me know below!
